The George Thompson Diamond Company was founded by George Thompson in 1976.
 
George started out selling door to door, using his ultra-low overhead to offer quality gold & diamond jewelry at super low "direct to you" prices. Soon the business grew to a point where George opened his first store in a high-rise office building in Oxnard, California.
 
Over the years the company has stayed dedicated to its roots; providing the highest quality jewelry at the best possible price.
 
Over the years George has become one of the largest independent jewelers in the country and a noted expert in his field.
 
Unhappy to offer the standard fair of most jewelers, in the year 2000 George and his wife Toi, opened up a custom jewelry manufacturing facility in Thailand.
